Hi all, I’m looking for babysitting jobs in the Christchurch area, something after 4pm or weekends would suit best but could sometimes be available for other times. I am currently in my first year at UC studying primary teaching. I have some experience babysitting, majority of this was while I was in high school, this consisted of both day time and evening work. While it is not current I have completed first aid courses, the last one was in 2022. I have my full license and a suitable car for transport. I am also happy to help with things around the house like cooking, cleaning, etc.. and I don’t have any problems with animals. I have an enthusiastic kind, friendly and patient nature and am looking forward to hearing from you.

Childcare Experience
I did a babysitting course when I was 14 and have had the odd job since then looking after a variety of children from the ages of about 1-10. For a while during high school I had a recurring job where I would do about 5 hours a day for a week each school holidays, the children I looked after were 4 and 7 when I started. I find childcare rewarding because I get to play a role in the growth and development of children, while also building strong trusting relationships with the children and their families. It also makes me feel satisfied knowing that I can help busy families out by aiding with childcare.
