Heya parents, I am currently a uni student taking a gap year. My passion is to become a primary school teacher and later complete a science degree to specialise in biology in highschool. I currently hold a full drivers license. I enjoy making jewellery, reading, tending to my plants, exploring nature, working on my ground re-build with my dad and jamming to music. I have been told I am a very loving, bubbly and caring soul. I feel like I am supportive and responsible when it comes to caring for a child especially since I find it easy to connect and make them feel heard. Vinaka for reading about me hope you’ll find me a good addition to your lil tribe.
My experience with caring for the young begin with coming from a large and diverse family. I have 5 siblings, 3 of which are younger than me Since the 3 little ones were born I have been right by their side, helping them with daily necessities like feeding, cooking and changing. I also would walk with them to and from school, support their hobbies and be a good role model as my older siblings were to me. I also do the same with my extended families children and my niece who is 2 yo, whom I currently babysit whenever my sister needs. I also volunteered at my mums childcare centre where I watched over the children as they played, read books to them and mostly play games. I find working with children most rewarding especially the moments when you see a lightbulb go off in their mind or when they watch you do something and follow along. experiences like this and more and moments I cherish the most as I see them grow into the person they want to become.
