My name is Ruby and I have recently graduated from highschool looking to put my interests and knowledge around kids and special needs children. I have experience as a teacher aide for learning support and autistic children, I have worked for over a year at an after/before school care program. I have three years experience baby sitting a highly autistic child. Special Needs Experience
I worked as a teacher aide at henderson high school in a learning support classroom. My role included helping kids with difficulty learning, regulating emotions and being a friend to them. The kids had different learning problems such as autism, physically disabled, hearing and behavioural problems. This experience gave me more patience, respect and knowledge.
Childcare Experience
3-4 years. I look after an autistic child where I made food, cared for him and catered to his needs, I have worked for over a year at an after/ before school care program where I provide food for the children, be a positive and respectful role model and care for the children.
