Hi all, I began babysitting when I was 14 and have hardly stopped. When I finished high school I worked as a teacher aide in a kindergarten and as a nanny for a 15mth old. I have experience working with children of all ages (4months - 14years) and absolutely love it. I have recently left the office world and am looking to have a little income (one-offs welcome!) while I figure out where life will take me next. Childcare Experience
I’ve been looking after children for as long as I can remember. I was raised by a mother who was also a Porse educator, and so I was surrounded by children ages 0 - 6yrs old from day one. I also have three younger siblings who have all now entered the ‘teen’ phase, so I’m comfortable with children of all ages. I began babysitting as soon as I turned 14 (the very day!) and haven’t stopped since. I also spent 2019 working in a Kindergarten with 3 - 6yr olds. One of my favourite things about looking after children is seeing them grow and learn new things, and simply being able to see the world from that perspective of absolutely wonder that every child has.
