Hi everyone! A little about me and what my experiences are ~~ 24/2/25 I am energetic, trustworthy and pick up on routine quickly whilst also creating a calm or exciting environment when suited/needed. I love children and relate with them well and tend to connect naturally. I enjoy looking after my plants and cooking, and currently really enjoy health foods and nature walks. Though, happy to cook anything. I have done nanny work for multiple families including one family from juggle street (1 year) which I loved ~ all families I got along well with and enjoyed looking after their children, picking them up from school, sometimes cooking, bed routine etc and holiday work (incl creating fun activities - soap making, crafts, outings) ✨ I assisted in the development of a school for ADHD and dyslexic children alongside the founder as admin, personal assistant and teacher assistant for 6 years. I believe I have knowledge around behaviour management which I am able to integrate lightly if needed and have always had a really fun approach building great relationships with students/families where I am trusted. I recently moved back to Auckland from mangawhai where I was surrounded by lush beaches and thoroughly enjoyed being in nature, walks, swimming. My best friends all have children, who I am aunty to and would babysit often as well as being an aunty to 4 girls. I moved back to Auckland to be closer to family and would love to get to know you and your family. Thank you! Ruby
I specialised in teaching ADHD and dyslexic children for 3 years (with years 2-4) so have knowledge within special education. Feel I can provide a nice calming atmosphere for children who may require a little bit more support.
I am flexible with age groups. I was a nanny/Au pair for 2 children aged 7 and 9 - for one year and also for another little boy aged 5 for 4 months.
I did the Ortom Gilingvam course which specialises in teaching dyslexic and twice exceptional students English and Reading.
