Hi, moms, dads, and caregivers. I'm keen to help new moms to get through their difficult time and also for parents who are juggling with their lives. I am originally from Sri Lanka and have been in New Zealand for 3 years with permanent residence. I'm a mother of two, 9 and 13. I have had my COVID vaccines plus the boosters. I am a mature person who never grew up. My teaching philosophy is that of teaching through play. I also have experience with additional needs. In 2010, I completed my Diploma in ECE in SRI Lanka, and I also completed ECE Level 4 in New Zealand AGI Education. And I have worked many years as a teacher in child care centers; also, I have a full clean drivers license with my own car. I am available weekdays and weekends. My contact number is 022 5664033. Childcare Experience
With over 7 years of experience in early childhood education, including 5 years as a pre-kindergarten teacher and Montessori teacher, I have a passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their developmental journey. My experience includes working with children aged 3-4, fostering socialization, confidence, and independence. I am particularly comfortable working with infants and toddlers, providing a safe and nurturing environment. Witnessing the moment-to-moment growth of each child brings immense satisfaction, and supporting their journey towards independence is fulfilling.
Tutoring Experience
I've tutored for 20 years, focusing on 4-9 year-olds in maths and reading, with family and kids. Also can help their art craft activities.
